A very comfortable and inviting office. Mr. Ray McNiven is caring, competent and easy to talk to. He took the time to thoroughly explain each step of the comprehensive hearing exam. He also took the time to clearly explain the significance of the results of that exam. I never felt rushed and look forward to our next visit.

After a failed experience at Costco I sought out Volume Hearing because it is owned and operated by a trained Audiologist. I loved the personal attention and felt from the start that I was dealing with a person of both knowledge and integrity. I was so excited that I sent my wife. He basically told my wife that it was true that I thought she really needed hearing aids. He told her she had only marginal hearing loss and helped her decide that she didn’t really need the hearing aides. Integrity.

For five years I was totally frustrated with several technicians with not being able to hear in meetings and groups in the end they simply turned up the high frequency to the point the running water in a sink was very irritating. When I went to Volume and Ray tested me, he used a different method in some of the testing so he could get the best results possible. When Ray set up the hearing aids, he inserted microphones in ahead of the hearing aids and the computer sent different sounds through the hearing aids and a computer read these and set up the aids accordingly. Now for the first time I am able to hear conversations I was unable to hear before even in groups. Ray has made a life changing difference for me in his expertise and his devotion to help his patients. Ray actually trains other vendors because of his drive to help people like me.
